Maama Kirunga Foundation

We are a NOT-FOR-PROFIT organization that helps to support the marginalized groups of people mainly focusing on the single mothers, orphans, children and other vulnerable groups. Full membership to Maama Kirunga Foundation is only accorded to all its target beneficiaries who have the same interests, values and objectives as the organization. Individuals can be co-opted to offer relevant expertise to the Foundation.

Our Activities

Urban Gardening

As part of our belief, Maama Kirunga has trained its beneficiaries into urban farming whereby its beneficiaries are able to utilize each and every single space in order to earn a living.

Financial Literacy

The Foundation provides financial literacy trainings through which the women, orphan children and other vulnerable groups have acquired financial management skills as a sustainability strategy for their businesses.

Counselling

Maama Kirunga Foundation offers counseling services to mental health patients, married Couples, bereaving individuals, street children, widows, widowers, among others ensuring that there hope for its beneficiaries.

Life Skills Training

Maama Kirunga Foundation has implemented a number of activities these including training of single mother ,orphan, children, PWDs and other vulnerable groups into baking cakes, making daddies, making paper bags, books, briquettes, jewelry among others.

Future Plans

Enhancing Training services

We plan to enhance our training services to all our target beneficiaries into product development and service delivery to foster adequate sustainability.

Training & Resource Centre

We intend to start a training Centre offering: our targeted beneficiaries with the appropriate skills and knowledge to able to compete in the competitive world.

Strengthening Public Relations/Advertising

For sustainability, we intend to strengthen the public relations/advertising component whose returns will contribute to the foundation’s financial enhancement.

Welfare Home Construction

Construction of a Home for the homeless, a church as we preach the word of God, a school / a training centre and a hospital.
